Valtti Card Not Working
Valtti cards come with a three‑month warranty starting from the order date. After the warranty period has ended, we do not replace Valtti cards that have been damaged through use.
Valtti card not working but still under warranty (less than 3 months old)
Please contact our customer service, explain that your Valtti card is not working, and include answers to the following questions to help speed up the process:
- Does the Valtti card react in any way to the reader?
- Have you contacted the person responsible for your site’s access control system regarding the issue?
- Do the Valtti cards of your company’s other employees work normally?
- Has the Valtti card worked previously?
Valtti card not working and older than 3 months
Unfortunately, we do not replace cards after the warranty period has expired. We recommend ordering a new Valtti card.
Checking a Valtti card with an NFC quick test
If your Valtti card does not react to reader devices and you suspect it may be faulty, you can perform a quick diagnosis using NFC. Turn on your phone’s NFC reader and place the card against the phone. If the phone reacts (usually with a beep), the chip is functional. In that case, you should contact the party responsible for the site’s access control system, as the issue is usually on their side and not with the card itself.
