How can I renew a Valtti Card?

Ordering a new Valtti Card to replace an old one is done in the same way as ordering a card for a person who has never had a Valtti Card, except that personal details do not need to be entered again, as they are most likely already available in the Employees tab of the Valtti service.

It is recommended to order a new card at least two weeks before the current card expires, to ensure that the new card arrives on time. You can find the instructions for ordering a Valtti Card here.


How can I change my photo for the new Valtti Card?

Update your photo in the Employees tab of the Valtti service by editing your employee information, and then place a new card order.


Will I receive a reminder about an expiring card?

A reminder email about the expiration of a Valtti Card is sent to the Card Service contact person three months before the card expires, and after that once a month on the first day of the month.


Where can I see when my card expires?

You can monitor the validity of Valtti Cards in the Employees tab of the Valtti service. Expired cards are no longer shown in the list.

The user interface automatically highlights cards that will expire within the next 3 months or 1 month, and you can click for a more detailed view showing employees with expiring cards.

You can also check the validity of a Valtti Card in the Card status column.

You can close the old Valtti Card in the Card management tab or wait for it to expire. Make sure that you close the old card, not the new one.
