Ordering a Valtti Card for a Foreign Worker in the Construction or Shipbuilding Industry

A foreign worker must apply for a personal identity code and a tax number from the Finnish Tax Administration before starting work and before a Valtti card can be ordered. Foreign workers must also be listed in the public tax number register before you can order a Valtti card for the construction or shipbuilding industry.
